Insights (or insanity) from a snowy day…
My definition of “Suffering” – ‘BELIEF’ that things are permanent (have an answer?!) when ALL is temporary.  The problem lies in us thinking (& holding on to) the ‘fact’ that everything is permanent … when NOTHING is.  That’s suffering.  “Life is suffering.” says the Buddha.  Suffering, dukkha, ‘temporary’…

Here … I just read this:

Because there is no single English word that neatly and tidily contains the same range of meaning and connotation as “dukkha,” I think it’s better not to translate it. Otherwise, you’ll waste time spinning your wheels over a word that doesn’t mean what the Buddha meant.  So, throw out “suffering,” “stress,” “dissatisfaction,” or whatever other English word is standing in for it, and go back to “dukkha.” Do this even if — especially if — you don’t understand what “dukkha” means. Think of it as an algebraic “X,” or a value you’re trying to discover.

But still … knowing or realizing all is temporary … doesn’t really give you any ANSWERS, does it???   But … hhhmmm … are not ‘answers’ in and of themselves something ‘permanent’ — an ‘ending’ of sorts?  I would be wary of anyone who has ‘the answer’ … RUN!  Mentally run as far as you can!  Life is not static …it moves.  How can there ever be an ‘answer’ … a ‘period’ — on a process in motion … in movement …. in vibration? … of evolution??  There is no answer … only the ongoing magic of possibilities

… come discover your possibilities … bowls take you to that space
